Lucknow: Shivpal Singh Yadav, the founding member of the Samajwadi Party (SP), now finally seems set for his next political move. Shivpal, who was feeling neglected in the Samajwadi Party (SP) since the 2017 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, had also formed his own party, but in 2022 he became an MLA on the symbol of the SP in the recently concluded UP assembly elections. Speculations are on the rife that Shivpal along with his son Aditya and thousands of supporters will join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) soon.
After Aparna Yadav, the younger daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, joined the BJP, now Netaji’s (Mulayam Singh Yadav) younger brother Shivpal Singh Yadav has also been doing rounds that he will join BJP soon after he dissolved the political wings of his party Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) PSP along with son and supporters.

It is believed that Shivpal will join BJP in the presence of BJP National President Jagat Prakash (JP) Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah and UP Assembly Election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan. He along with his son Aditya Yadav and thousands of supporters will join the Bharatiya Janata Party. Sources say that Shivpal Singh Yadav will join the Bharatiya Janata Party at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.
Earlier, Shivpal Singh Yadav has dissolved all its state work committees, national and state work cells and spokespersons of the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia meeting on Friday. His move is being taken very seriously. PSP chief Shivpal Yadav, who is said to be angry with his nephew and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav since the results of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, has now started the war. Shivpal Yadav on Friday dissolved the entire spokesperson board, including the state executive of the Progressive Samajwadi Party and the executive president of national/regional cells, with immediate effect.
The National President of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia Shivpal Singh Yadav has been the talk of the town in the political corridor of Uttar Pradesh for the past several days.
