Date:

Lucknow: Shivpal Singh Yadav, the founding member of the Samajwadi Party (SP), now finally seems set for his next political move. Shivpal, who was feeling neglected in the Samajwadi Party (SP) since the 2017 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, had also formed his own party, but in 2022 he became an MLA on the symbol of the SP in the recently concluded UP assembly elections. Speculations are on the rife that Shivpal along with his son Aditya and thousands of supporters will join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) soon.

After Aparna Yadav, the younger daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, joined the BJP, now Netaji’s (Mulayam Singh Yadav) younger brother Shivpal Singh Yadav has also been doing rounds that he will join BJP soon after he dissolved the political wings of his party Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) PSP along with son and supporters.

Sources say that Shivpal Singh Yadav will join the Bharatiya Janata Party at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.

His move is being taken very seriously. PSP chief Shivpal Yadav, who is said to be angry with his nephew and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav since the results of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, has now started the war. Shivpal Yadav on Friday dissolved the entire spokesperson board, including the state executive of the Progressive Samajwadi Party and the executive president of national/regional cells, with immediate effect.
