Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh): A fire erupted at a chemical factory in Parsakhera Industrial Area at Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

According to reports, the incident occurred because of a short circuit.

As soon as the district administration came to know of the incident, they pressed six fire engines into service to douse the flames and took the residents of the surrounding areas to a safer place.

A few days ago, four labourers were killed in an incident of fire that erupted in another factory belonging to Ashoka Foam Private Limited, located near the Delhi-Lucknow National highway.

The factory is in Jerh village of Bareilly district in UP.

When the incident occurred, 100 workers were inside the factory. Immediately after the incident, the owner of the company and four others were booked.
