Virat jumped 34 places in Forbes list

Forbes ranked Kohli at number 66 on the list of the world’s highest-grossing top-100 athletes with a gross of $ 26 million (about Rs 196 crore). Of Kohli’s total earnings, $ 24 million came from advertisements and $ 2 million from salary.

Kohli was ranked 100 in Forbes’ 2019 list and 83rd in the 2018 list, which means that Kohli has jumped 34 places in the 2020 list.

The list of world’s top-grossing top-100 players includes players from 21 countries and 10 sports. Of these, maximum 14 from Football, 6 from Tennis, 4-4 from Boxing and Golf, three from Racing, while one player each from Cricket and Mixed Martial Arts has got place.

Star tennis player Roger Federer topped the 2020 list of Forbes’ highest-grossing players with earnings of $ 106 million last year. He is the first tennis player to reach the top since the introduction of this list in 1990. He was fifth last year. Of Federer’s total earnings, he received $ 100 million in advertisements and the rest in salary.
