New Delhi: A big news is coming from Uttarakhand among the number of fast growing corona patients across the country. Cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj of the Uttarakhand government has been found corona infected. Earlier his wife’s report came Covid-19 positive. He is currently admitted to Rishikesh AIIMS and undergoing treatment.
Apart from the minister, 22 people of staff including Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj and his son, daughter-in-law have been found infected. There has been a stir after the report became public as Satpal Maharaj attended a cabinet meeting on Friday.
State Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was also present in this meeting. Not only this, Satpal Maharaj also attended a meeting of the tourism department. According to protocol, people exposed to corona infected are quarantined.
The state government cabinet has been stirred up since the Corona positive news of the minister’s wife came to light on Sunday morning.
