Delhi record 4k nCoV cases in 24 hours, 21 deaths

New Delhi: The national capital reported 4033 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, while 21 more people lost their lives, Delhi Health Department said on Sunday.

According to the official data, the new addition has taken Delhi’s caseload to 6,76,414 and the death toll to 11,081.

Total 86,899 tests were conducted in the past one day. Of these, 54,472 were RT-PCR tests, gold standard test, while 32,427 were Rapid Antigen Test. So far, 14907756 tests have been conducted in the city.

The city’s cumulative positivity rate is 4.54 per cent.

Currently, there are 7144 COVID patients under home isolation across the city who are mostly asymptomatic or with very mild symptoms.
