Coronavirus U turn from zero

The second wave of Covid-19 is dangerous.

Amit Bishnoi

Meerut- The second wave of Corona in the district is becoming uncontrollable. The serious thing is that the newly found patients of the infection have spoiled all the equations of the Health Department. On one side, where the situation is deteriorating day by day, new chains are constantly being formed due to the non-availability of the source of the virus. In such a situation, curbing infection is becoming crooked for the department.

Hundreds of new chains formed challenges in front of the department.

In the last ten days, the Coronavirus in the district has destroyed all records of this year. From March 25 to April 3, 433 new active cases have been revealed. Of these 290 patients are new, i.e., patients who have not contacted any other patients, but their source is still unknown. In such a situation, it is clear that more than 200 source chains are standing in front of the department in just ten days. It is also not easy to break them because the source is not known. It is clear from these figures that the infection situation will be more difficult in the coming days.

Things deteriorated during the festive season.

We should call it the ignorance of the health department or the people’s negligence, but after the festive season, the condition of the city has become worrisome. Every day the half-century of positive cases has started to be exceeded. By the early week of March, the improved conditions have become completely neutral with Holi. Talking about 1 to March 10, only 30 new active cases were revealed in just ten days. Whereas from March 25 to April 3, a total of 433 new infections have been reported.

The number of new cases every day of Coronavirus infection reached 0. After lowering the infection rate, the health department, administration, and the general public had breathed a sigh of relief, but by the end of March, the virus had also taken a U-turn. After surviving select active patients, hundreds of cases have spread back to the district, the most significant danger being from the people coming from outside.

People are coming from other places and come in contact with each other. It is difficult to say where the virus came from. We are making all efforts to control the situationDr. Akhilesh Mohan, CMO, Meerut.
