Lucknow: Corona outbreak continues to increase in Uttar Pradesh. Thousands of new cases are coming out every day. On Sunday, the state government said that during the last 24 hours, more than 4 thousand new cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh. With these new cases, the total number of active cases of corona infected in the state reached 19,738. The government said that 10,666 of these people are in home isolation.
During this time the government has issued new rules. The government said that in every area where corona infection cases will be found, the area of 25 meters will be considered as a containment zone, considering each Covid positive case as the center. Similarly, for more than one case, a zone of 50 meters will be made a containment zone. In this connection, the government has sent instructions to the District Administrative Officers.
Apart from this, the government has issued separate rules for multi-storey apartments. Under this, if a patient is found in a multi-storey building, that floor of the apartment will be made a containment zone. If more than one patient is found, the block of group housing will be sealed. Containment zone will end only if no patient is found for 14 days.
Meanwhile, Additional Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Information Navneet Sehgal informed that there are 6,287 Containment Zones in Uttar Pradesh at present. He appealed to all the people of the state to follow the protocol of Covid-19, such as regularly washing hands with soap-water, applying a mask, making a distance of two yards.
