Auto Desk – Mahindra launched its Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV six months ago with a starting price of ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and has hiked the prices up to ₹1 lakh of its flagship SUV various models.
Several Mahindra Scorpio-N models have received a price hike from ₹15,000 to up to ₹1 lakh. Z8 4WD variant maximum price hike of ₹1.01 lakh and it has a price tag of ₹20.95 lakh. Also, the Z8 L 4WD variant comes at a price of ₹24.05 lakh (ex-showroom).
The hike in Scorpio-N variants, both in diesel and petrol has been the highest. The company has launched five new variants of its latest generation Scorpio-N. These variants are entry-level and mid-level segments which are offered with diesel and petrol powertrains.
Moreover, the Z2 variants offered safety features and Mahindra and Mahindra recently added the feature of electronic stability control (ESC) to the two new entry-level variants. The petrol engine offers 198 bhp of max power and 380 Nm of peak torque. The diesel unit offers 173 bhp max power and 400 Nm of torque power.
The new Z4 variants come with 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electrically adjustable ORVMs, climate control, and more. Also, the new Z4 4WD variant will be offered with a selectable 4WD system.
