England-West Indies tour can lead to international cricket resumption

The West Indies Cricket Board has approved a tour of England in which his team will play three Test matches in a biologically safe environment. If this series gets the approval of the UK government, it will restore international cricket which is suspended due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Cricket West Indies said in a statement, “The board gave in-principle approval to West England’s proposed England tour.”

According to the statement, “The decision has been taken only after detailed discussions with cricket and cricket related representatives and advisors of Cricket West Indies with the England and Wales Cricket Board, their medical and health advisors.”

The England and Wales Cricket Board have proposed two venues for the Test series starting July 8, Hampshire’s Agias Bowles and Lancashire’s Old Trafford and both have hotels. All matches will be played in a closed stadium without spectators.
