Uttar Pradesh: An incident was reported in Uttar Pradesh where a man named Ankit Mishra was arrested for deceiving several youngsters on the pretext of providing them with a job in the Indian Army.
According to the information received he was arrested late on Wednesday near the PGI crossing area by the Uttar Pradesh Special task force.
As per the official statement from the authorities Ankit Mishra, aged 40 used to move around the army canteen in uniform.
Mishra has been doing this fraud for four years, he has successfully looted many aspirants. Mishra used to demand ten to fifteen lakhs from the aspirants and gave them a fake assurance of recruitment as a clerk in the Army canteen.
Recently the fraudulent has targeted two men and demanded an amount of Rs 6lkah, following which the man showed fake appointment papers to both of them and said once they will pay the amount they will receive the appointment letter.
According to the information received Mishra’s wife works in the state police department.
After the inquiry, Mishra confessed to looting twelve people in the last two years. The police have insured that a proper investigation would be done into the matter and the accused will not be spared.
