Have you ever seen a Brahma Temple in your city? Have you ever thought why in every temple there are various forms of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu getting worshipped but Brahma God who forms the Tridev (Trinity of Gods) cannot be found? Well, today you will get its answers. As per mythological stories, Lord Brahma married Gayatri to perform a yajna in main Pushkar Lake as he didn’t find his wife Savitri (who is a form of Goddess Saraswati) to reach the place on time.
When Maa Saraswati saw this injustice happening to her, she cursed Brahma God that he would never be worshipped in any temple. But since Gayatri had some powers as she sat in the yajna, so she reduced the effects of the curse by making Pushkar a place of pilgrims where Lord Brahma could be worshipped.
