Sports Desk – Yograj Singh, a famous cricket coach and the father of Yuvraj Singh, has made headlines about his son’s cricket career and former Indian captain MS Dhoni.
Yograj believes Yuvraj deserves the Bharat Ratna, for his outstanding contributions to cricket, especially highlighting how he bravely fought cancer and returned to the sport.
However, Yograj is upset with MS Dhoni, accusing him of negatively affecting Yuvraj’s career. He claims that Dhoni’s actions shortened Yuvraj’s career by several years.
Yograj has expressed that he will never forgive Dhoni for what he believes was unfair treatment towards his son while they were teammates.
Yuvraj Singh is well-known for his key role in India winning the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the ODI World Cup in 2011, where he was also named the best player of the tournament.
Despite these highs, Yuvraj faced a tough battle with cancer during the 2011 World Cup, which he later defeated.
After overcoming his illness, Yuvraj returned to cricket in 2012 but struggled to get back to his best form. This struggle led to him eventually being left out of the national team.
He played his last big international tournaments in 2014 and 2017 and retired from international cricket in 2019, although he continued to play in the IPL for a while.
Yuvraj and Dhoni had a long history of playing together, appearing in 273 matches as teammates, where they shared many memorable moments on the cricket field.
