Udhayanidhi newly elected sports minister in Tamil Nadu has pledged to mae Tamil Nadu a sports hub in the country. He is the son of the chief-minister of the state M.K Stalin. According to the information received Junior Stalin will handle the Sports ministry and youth affairs in the state.
After swearing in as the minister said to the media that he was aware that he be surrounded with criticism, as being son of Chief minister of the state. He further stated that he has already faced such instances when he became the secretary of the DMK youth wing. He further said that he is not afraid of criticism and will work for the benefits of the country and state.
The actor-turned-politician said that he won’t be able to act in the movie that he had signed with Kamal Haasan. He told the press that Kamal Haasan was the first to congratulate him on becoming the sports minister. He later said that ‘Mamannan’ will be his last movie.
Junior Stalin further claimed that he would develop mini stadiums in the state to develop a sports culture in the state. BJP and other opposition has raised allegations on swearing in him as the sports minister.
