Lucknow: Political strategist Prashant Kishor (PK), on Tuesday said that he has declined the proposal of Congress and he is not going to join the party. It’s a shocker from PK’s side because till now not at any occasions Prashant affirmed that he is joining the grand old party of India. So why, declination is being announced from his side. The people who know PK very well, they acclaim that Prashant doesn’t do anything without win-loss factor. So, it must have to be understood who won and who lost in the episode till now?
The sources within the congress says that Rahul Gandhi wasn’t agreeing to hand over the party’s steering to Prashant Kishor. He was of the view that Prashant should suggest the changes and his plans and the apex body of the party, i.e. Congress Working Committee (CWC) will take the decision with majority. Prashant was of the view that party’s system lets the decision linger on. It could have been better in the past. At that time the party was strong enough and the opposition was also not very quick.

Today the scenario is totally opposite. Neither the congress is strong enough nor the opponent is lazy. It has turned to be a giant devil and vey quick and targeting elections after elections. Prashant wanted to be in congress so that he can be in contest with BJP with having a base of around 12 Cr voters. But the Gandhi family has clearly said that the party will not be limited within few. It will be a collective responsibility and the things will go through the similar platforms. It could be ensured of gearing up the decision but handing over the command to a few men group is unacceptable.
Some people of the view that it’s a loss of PGV and SG as they both wanted PK at any cost whereas Rahul has made the borders that lateral entry can’t be beyond that. So PK’s announcement still says it’s a win for RG in the party.
Will Prashant return?
If we see the history and chemistry between Prashant and congress, then the question arises will he return? As he did in the past. Some people are of the idea that now it’s over between them, whereas other says that surely, it is a tactics of the negation. One who say over, they remined that till now Prashant haven’t uttered a single word. Whereas who are hopeful say that still he said that he is not going to join Congress, didn’t he said that he will not work with Congress.

IPAC has also become problem in the deal
Few of the Congress sources say that PK’s IPAC has also become a cause of the familiarity of the deal. They say that Congress wanted IPAC should work with them only as PK is to be with Congress. But PK clearly said that IPAC will do the work as it was doing though PK will not have the influence in the strategical work with other party. Rahul Gandhi opposed PK’s idea and view.
