Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Theft’ Allegation in Haryana Sparks BJP Counterattack

PoliticsRahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Theft’ Allegation in Haryana Sparks BJP Counterattack

Date:

Political Desk – Congress leader Rahul Gandhi held a press conference in New Delhi on Wednesday, alleging large-scale “fake voting” in the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections and accusing the Election Commission of helping the BJP “steal votes.” He called his findings “The H Files.”

Rahul Gandhi claimed:

There are 25 lakh fake voters in Haryana.

One woman’s photo was allegedly used to cast 223 votes.

Another person allegedly voted 22 times across multiple booths.

Congress lost eight key seats by a margin of around 22,000 votes, while Haryana has over 2 crore voters.

“This means one in eight voters is fake,” he said. Rahul urged Gen-Z to pay attention, saying, “Your future is being taken from you.”

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju sharply criticised Rahul Gandhi, calling the allegations fake and accusing him of wasting the nation’s time.

Politicians should talk about serious issues. He keeps creating fake narratives,” Rijiju said.

He also claimed:

Rahul Gandhi visits foreign countries during elections and Parliament sessions.

Rahul is trying to “provoke Gen-Z,” but India’s youth support PM Narendra Modi.

Rahul is “in collusion with anti-India forces.”

Rijiju mocked Rahul’s dramatic language:

“He says an atom bomb will explode… why does it never explode?”

Reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s claim that a “Brazilian model’s photo” was used to cast multiple votes, BJP spokesperson Radhika Khera took a swipe, hinting at Sonia Gandhi’s Italian origin:

“A vote was also cast in India by an ‘Italian woman’. Do you know her name?”

Rahul Gandhi says more proofs will be released soon. Voting begins in Bihar on Thursday, and this confrontation has intensified political tension just a day before polls.

The BJP says this is just a diversion tactic.

Congress says it is exposing “vote theft.”
