Congress lawmaker YS Sharmila of Andhra Pradesh used the insult “kedi” to describe Prime Minister Narendra Modi when she spoke out against Modi’s track record of campaign promises to invest in the state’s infrastructure.
The Congress leader said in his remark that Modi was a kedi since he had failed to improve the economy of Andhra Pradesh. She also claims that Prime Minister Modi went back on his word during his visit to Tirupati.
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and her uncle, N Chandrababu Naidu, were branded as a “gang of thieves” in her retaliatory statement. According to her, the two are BJP henchmen.
On January 4, YS Sharmila joined the YSR Telangana party when it merged with the Congress party. Former chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s daughter, YS Sharmila, claims that her father had wished for Rahul Gandhi to succeed Indira Gandhi as prime minister of India.
Her devotion to the Andhra Pradeshi people was further shown by her description of her time spent padayatraking while wearing the YSRCP symbol.
At the last Telangana assembly elections, Sharmila declared her desire to join the Congress in an attempt to depose K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s BRS administration, which she characterized as corrupt and anti-people.
She spoke in support of the Congress’ position on the issue, saying, “There is a huge corruption in the Kaleswaram project and Narendra Modi who is coming to Telangana tomorrow should order a central-level investigation into this.”
Earlier, YS Sharmila said that she will be supporting the Congress party in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections instead of running for office herself.
You are aware that Telangana State is at a critical juncture with the State Assembly elections scheduled for the last day of this month. After years of KCR’s autocratic rule, the people of Telangana have finally had enough and are plotting his ouster. The people of Telangana have seen an affluent family’s enslavement and the theft of their fortune for the last nine and a half years. Furthermore, the once-rich state is now heavily indebted, according to Sharmila, due to the massive corruption of KCR and his accomplices.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s younger sister Sharmila has said that all parties with similar beliefs must collaborate for the sake of Telangana’s inhabitants in light of the growing evidence of corruption involving Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
In support of this objective, the YSR Telangana Party has taken a crucial decision. Sharmila made the observation that the Congress party is seen to have a shot at scripting BRS’s imminent downfall, and that any division of anti-incumbency votes now would be an obstacle to deposing KCR.
According to several surveys and personal experiences, the proportion of votes cast for Congress in each district will be heavily impacted by our participation in the next Assembly elections. To avoid this problem in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, the YSR Telangana Party has decided not to field any candidates. On top of that, she made it clear that she was willing to stand down if it meant the state and its citizens would benefit more.
