Luckniw: Samajwadi Party leader of Kannuj, Rajnikant Yadav’s building was razed by the local authorities on Wednesday. It has been said by the officials that, the building was illegally constructed.
Additional District Magistrate Umakant Tiwari told, The illegal structure was constructed after encroaching the government land. The legal process was followed before demolishing the structure. Rajnikant is a former zila panchayat member. His affiliation is to Samajwadi Party. In 2017, a complaint was filed of the structure.

5 years officers took for legal action
ADM told that the complaint is of 2017. The question arrises that why 5 years have been taken to take the action against the structure buit by Rajnikant? If the land belongs to government, it must be in records of the local administration. SDM is the competent authority to decide the case, he is also government officer. Why, so much time has been taken by the officials for having an action. One section of the locals is of the view that action have been taken by the officers in ‘revenge’.
