Immediately after polishing off the 27-year-old woman, her live-in partner cut her body into 35 pieces which he kept in many polythene bags in a refrigerator. At the outset, the killer dumped her liver and intestines in the forests of Mehrauli and Chhatarpur. As her body parts were getting frozen in a refrigerator at his residence, the murderer was enjoying physical relations with other women whom he befriended through Bumble App.
New Delhi: As the probe into Shraddha Walker murder case that has rocked the nation is progressing, many more shocking incidents connected with the killer is emerging. The live-in partner of Shraddha Aftab Ameen Poonawalla cut her into 35 pieces which he dumped at different places in Delhi. Poonawalla who has been arrested confirmed that at the outset, he disposed of the liver and intestines after chopping them, official sources said.
Poonawalla told the police that he had disposed of the intestines and liver in the Chattarpur and Mehrauli forest areas. To cut off the body into pieces easily, the killer had kept Shraddha’s corpse under the shower in the bathroom. He had learnt the methodology of cutting a human body through Google. The felon confessed to the police that after killing Shraddha and keeping the pieces of her body in a refrigerator, he continued to update her Instagram to allay any doubts about her being alive.
It also came to light that Aftab had met many women through an online dating app and became close to them. He called those women to his house and had physical relations with them in the house where he had kept the pieces of Shraddha’s corpse.
Nevertheless, the women with whom Poonawalla had physical relations had no idea about the murder. The police also confirmed that during interrogation Poonawalla confessed to inviting women to his flat and had physical relations with them after he killed Shraddha in May this year. All those women who visited his house said that they had noticed many incense sticks lit at the residence, a strong odour of room fresheners and that of chlorine, but they could not suspect that such a brutal murder of a woman had been committed in the house and that the pieces of her body had been kept in a refrigerator.
