A shocking case has come to light in Nagpur after the wife of an Indian Air Force officer accused three men of drugging, raping, blackmailing and pressuring her to convert her religion. A viral video linked to the case has now become an important piece of evidence in the investigation.

In the video, the 24-year-old woman can be heard crying, “Chhodo mujhe (let me go),” as one of the accused, identified as Ayyaz Taj Madare, allegedly holds her hands and performs religious rituals while she tries to free herself.

According to the complaint, the incident dates back to February 2025. The woman, who works in property dealing, alleged that her former classmate Ayyaz Madare contacted her on the pretext of buying a plot and called her to a hotel on Wardha Road.

She claimed that he served her juice mixed with an intoxicating substance and raped her while she was unconscious. The accused allegedly recorded videos and photographs of the act and later used them to blackmail her.

The woman further alleged that she was repeatedly sexually exploited and forced to pay Rs 3.09 lakh. She also claimed that she was pressured to adopt Islam and made to participate in various religious rituals.

According to the complaint, in May, the accused took her to Kalmeshwar in Nagpur, where she met Ameen Sheikh and Hazrat Maulana. She alleged that the three men took her to a secluded place, performed certain rituals and declared that her religious conversion had been completed. She also claimed that another attempt was made to rape her.

The matter came to light recently after the woman’s husband, who serves in the Indian Air Force and is posted in another city, returned home. The woman then informed him about the alleged incidents, following which a complaint was lodged at Sonegaon Police Station.

Police have arrested Ayyaz Taj Madare (26) and Ameen Sheikh (30), while efforts are underway to trace the third accused, Hazrat Maulana, who is reportedly a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

A case has been registered under charges of rape, extortion, attempted religious conversion and provisions of the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and Other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act.

A court has sent the two arrested accused to five days of police custody. The investigation is currently underway.
