Pran Pratishtha, the consecration ceremony of the massive Ram Mandir, is almost set to take place in Ayodhya on January 22. At the event, which will mark the opening of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be there.

Nearly 7,000 people, including celebrities, economic tycoons, religious leaders, and dignitaries from more than 100 countries, will be in attendance, according to the temple trust.

The renowned Karnataka artist Arun Yogiraj sculpted the figure of Ram Lalla, which will be installed in the temple at its consecration. Also, the current idol of Lord Ram, which has been venerated for the last seventy years, will be housed in the sanctum sanctorum of the new temple.

In the Vikram Samvat 2080 calendar, the auspicious Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram will take place on the next Pash Shukla Kurma Dwadashi, which is January 22.

You may see the Pratistha program in the afternoons as part of the ‘Abhijeet Muhurta’ schedule. The sacrament rituals preceding Pran Pratistha, however, will commence on January 16 and conclude on January 21.

PRE RITUALS 

  • Prayaschita and Karmakuti will be doing a Poojan on January 16th.
  • The Murti Parisar Pravesh will be on January 17th.
  • On the evening of January 18th, there will be Jal Yatra, Gandhadhivas, and Teerth Poojan.
  • Ghritadhivas, Aushadhadhivas, and Kesaradhivas on the morning of January 18th
  • Dhanyadhivas on the evening of January 19th
  • Sharkaradhivas and Phaladhivas (first thing on January 20)
  • Pushpadhivas will be on January 20th, in the evening 
  • Madhyadhivas on January 21st sunrise
  • Shaiyadhivas on December 22nd

Three Adhivasas are minimally necessary for a Pratistha rite, which requires seven. The dedication ceremonies for the Ram Mandir will be performed by a total of 121 Acharyas.

During the Anushthan, Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid will oversee, coordinate, anchor, and lead all events, while Kashi’s Lakshmi Kant Dixit will serve as the principal Acharya.

Distinguished members of more than fifty Adivasi, Girivasi, Tatavasi, and Dwipavasi tribal traditions, as well as Acharyas from every school of Bharatiya spiritualism, religion, sect, worship system, and tradition will be present at the Pratistha ceremony.

Governor Anandiben Patel of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh, Pujaniya Sarsanghchalak, Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS, and Prime Minister Modi are all anticipated to be in attendance.Current and former Indian cricketers Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Sachin Tendular will also be in attendance at the event.

Prabhas, Alia Bhatt, Rajinikanth, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Ranbeer Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, and Madhuri Dixit were among the Bollywood celebs which were there. Notable actors like Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Shah Rukh Khan have not yet received invites.

The consecration will be graced by the presence of seasoned actor Arun Govil, who was cast as Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s acclaimed television series Ramayan. A constant flow of guests from other states are bringing symbolic offerings such as soil, water, cash, stones, clothing, jewelry, large bells, drums, and aromatic items.

The Bhaars, which are traditionally handed to a daughter at the establishment of her home, originated from Maa Janaki’s maternal residences in Janakpur, Nepal, and Sitamarhi, Bihar, and are therefore one of the most remarkable gifts.
