Ram Mandir construction is being led by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust. The ground-breaking function was held on 5th August 2020 by Modi. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust started the first phase of construction of the Ram Temple in March of 2020. However, the coronavirus pandemic in India in 2020 and its related lockdowns led to a temporary stop of the constructions. On the 25th of March 2020, Ram’s idol was transferred to a temporary location in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

In 2020, Indian actress Kangana Ranaut announced plans to direct a film about the Ayodhya dispute titled Aparajitha Ayodhya, with V. Vijayendra Prasad as the writer. The film would also include the Bhoomi Pujan.

During the 2021 Delhi Republic Day parade on Rajpath, Uttar Pradesh’s tableau depicted a replica of the Ram Mandir. Small replicas of the temple design were shown during Diwali in 2021.

So, if you are planning to be among the first visitors of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, then start looking for tickets as there will be already several bookings made that will escalate the cost.
