Kanyakumari: The official YouTube channel of the Congress on Bharat Jodo Yatra stopped giving any live video clip on Thursday. The Yatra started from Kanyakumari. The YouTube link said, “Video unavailable! The video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been closed.” When the issue came to light Congress’ social media head Supriya Shrinate said she would be in a position to comment on the issue only after finding out the reasons. The Congress has made arrangements for live telecasting of the 3,570km Yatra.
In the morning, Rahul Gandhi hoisted the flag at the campsite of Bharat Yatris and stopped at a higher secondary school in Suchindram in Kanyakumari. The area was about 15km from the starting point of the Yatra. Hundreds of people took part in the Yatra. They greeted Rahul Gandhi and exchanged notes with him. According to party MP from Kanyakumari Vijay Vasanth, the Yatra will change the political and social discourse of the country. Former Union minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram accompanied Rahul Gandhi.
