London: Thousands of mourners flocked to the palace gates to honour Queen Alizabeth-II who died on Thursday at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Church bells tolled across the United Kingdom on Friday. Now that the Queen is no more, Britain is set to enter a new era under a new king. He is King Charles III who has prepared himself for the new role in the past 70 years. This is the time when uncertainty is hanging over Britain. The country is facing major problems.

The country has declared a ten-day mourning. People across the world collected the British embassies to pay homage to the Queen who ruled for 70 years. A 96-gun salute has been planned in London. She died at 96.  King Charles-III is set to meet new Prime Minister Liz Truss. Thousands of mourners who reached Buckingham Palace left a bouquet at the gate in her honour.
