New Delhi: As long as the Central Government remains insensitive to price rise and other issues related to common man, the Congress will continue fighting on the streets, said party’s general secretary KC Venugopal on Saturday. He made the remark ahead of the “Mehngai Par Halla Bol” rally to be held at Ramlila Maida on Sunday. Venugopal tore into the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre for following wrong economic policies which led to destruction of the Indian economy.

When the prices of essential commodities are going through the roof, the ruling party is busy buying legislators of other political and toppling opposition governments. The government is totally insensitive, because one can check how the prices of essential items have sky-rocketed from 2014 to 2022. Venugopal was flanked by Jairam Ramesh and Ajay Maken. Party workers from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and other parts of the country will take part in the rally to be addressed by former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and other leaders.
