The administration of Uttar Pradesh has decided to impose a night curfew beginning December 25. The night-time curfew will be in effect from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Aside from that, no weddings involving more than 200 individuals will be permitted. The decision was made in light of the escalating number of instances of Omicron infection in the country. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions to the high-level team-09. The situation in the state has been brought under control thanks to the efficient execution of the Covid tracking, testing, treatment, and immunisation programme. In the previous 24 hours, a total of 49 new infections were confirmed after an analysis of 01 lakh 91 thousand 428 samples. 12 persons were treated and were corona-free throughout the same time period.

CM Yogi has directed the high-level team-09 to make traders aware of the slogan “No mask, no products” at the marketplaces. A merchant should never deliver a consumer item without wearing a mask. Masks should also be made mandatory for everyone on the highways and in marketplaces. The police force should be on the lookout at all times. The public address system should be improved. Every individual entering Uttar Pradesh’s border from any state in the nation or from overseas should be traced and tested. On buses, trains, and airports, extra caution is advised. Corona control has been accomplished admirably through monitoring committees. In preparation for the third wave, reactivate monitoring committees in villages and urban wards. Test everyone from the outside.
