Kanpur shootout: Now reward of Rs 1 lakh for giving clue to Vikas Dubey

Kanpur: It has been more than 48 hours since the encounter took place in Kanpur. The police still have no clue about the notorious history sheeter Vikas Dubey, the mastermind of this encounter. 20 STF teams and more than three thousand policemen have been deployed in Uttar Pradesh to arrest Vikas Dubey. An alert has been issued for the arrest of Vikas Dubey from Noida to Nepal border. Meanwhile, the police had announced a reward of one lakh rupees to those giving information about Vikas Dubey. Earlier this amount was 50 thousand, which has been increased by the police to one lakh. Police has placed a reward of 25-25 thousand on the other 18 accused involved in this incident.

Police suspect that history sheeter Vikas Dubey may try to escape to Nepal. Therefore, Nepal border has been alerted. With this special alert has been made in all the seven districts adjacent to Nepal border. Police have taken surveillance on mobile phones of about 500 people including family and relatives of Vikas Dubey. Police personnel close to the development are also being monitored.

Giving information to the DGP, it has been told that 75 districts have been alerted to catch Vikas Dubey and the criminals who have fled with him. S. Pratap Kumar of ADG Crime is leading the case of Vikas Dubey. Apart from this, ADG LO Prashant Kumar, IG STF Amitabh Yash are also engaged in the operation.
