New Delhi: In order to control agitating farmers on the borders of Delhi, the government has disrupted internet services for many days, due to which farmers and especially journalists reporting there are facing a lot of problems. The Samyukta Kisan Morcha has demanded immediate restoration of the internet services disrupted by the government. The Morcha says that along with the agitating farmers, the media and local people are facing a lot of problem. The students are facing a lot of trouble as their exams are near. On one side the government talks about Digital India, on the other hand the people of the country are being deprived of the Internet.
The farmers movement is getting continuous support from the country and the world. It is a shame that the government wants to suppress it as an internal matter. The people who are supporting the farmers are being trolled which is condemnable.
This movement is a complete farmers’ movement and we reject all the baseless allegations against the farmers. This movement has been completely apolitical from the beginning and will remain apolitical. The leader of any political party will not be given the platform of the United Kisan Morcha. The support of political parties and leaders of the peasant movement is welcome, but in no case, the joint Kisan Morcha’s platform will be given a place.
