Prasad was born in Shirdi but he settled in a city later to work as a businessman. He earned a good amount of money and returned back to Shirdi as a rich businessman who is on the lookout for laborers for his chocolate factory.

Prasad lured Kulkarni Sarkar and they both fooled the villagers into sending their children to work in the chocolate factory. There was no such rule in those days where child labor was prohibited. Prasad’s intention was to ensure that the children enjoyed the work in the initial days and he would pay them less as well making them feel as if they are getting paid for no work and only playing and eating chocolates.

However, Sai was aware of Prasad’s evil thoughts and even warned the villagers and Prasad both for not continuing this wrong practice of making children work at such a small age as children should focus only on their studies and play at a young age. However, villagers got fooled by Prasad who convinced them that the practical exposure that the children will get working in the factory will help them in the long run, and also they are becoming financially stable at such a small age.
However, over a period of time, when the children got to do the actual work of making the mithai goli, there were stressed and physically burnout. Their parents didn’t expect this result and thus, decide not to send children to work. However, Prasad’s evil mind had already got the villagers signed on some blank papers which mention that children cannot leave the work in the middle and have to continue till Prasad wants. Sai’s blessings step in and now Prasad faces the higher official of the British sarkar who sees all the mess that Prasad has done and demands an answer.
