On Sunday morning, Indian actor Rajinikanth was seen leaving the airport in Mumbai, and guess what won the hearts of the internet users? It was his gesture of carrying his own bag that has made everyone talk about him even now. Yeah, the Tamil superstar who came to Mumbai to shoot for the film Thalaivar 170 with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and other stars was seen leaving the city at Mumbai airport. He wore a simple attire that included a black T-shirt and a pair of pants with his specs on.

The video that was shared by the paparazzo saw Rajinikanth carrying a sling bag. He was noticed smiling at the cameras and then he greeted the paparazzi with a warm smile before leaving his flight. Earlier this week, Rajinikanth made headlines after he shared the first photos from the sets of Thalaivar 170 with Amitabh Sir. After all, the film saw Amitabh and Rajinikanth coming together on the screen in one film after 33 years. The film is going to be directed by T.J. Gnanavel. Their reunion was announced by Lyca Productions some weeks back.
Sharing the picture on social media, Rajinikanth wrote, “After 33 years, I am working again with my mentor, the phenomenon, Shri Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming Lyca’s “Thalaivar 170″ directed by T.J Gnanavel. My heart is thumping with joy!” Apart from Rajinikanth and Amitabh, Thalaivar 170 also stars Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil. The film began filming in Kerala earlier this month.”
The details with regards to their parts in the film have been kept under wraps. But a report says that possibly Amitabh and Rajinikanth will be locking horns in the movie. A report also says that Rajinikanth will be playing the role of a cop in the film while Amitabh will perform the part of the villain.
Thus, reportedly, the film will present Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan clashing on-screen. But let us tell you that there is no official confirmation about this update as of yet.
Rajinikanth is enjoying the success of his recent movie Jailer. Jailer seems to be one of the top-grossing movies of the year 2023. The film’s story revolves around an aged man whose cop son gets kidnapped by a criminal. The movie has made a business of an estimated gross collection of over Rs. 600 crores. Produced by Kalanithi Maran and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film was released on 9th August 2023.
