Mahesh Babu urges people to continue wearing masks to fight coronavirus

Tollywood heartthrob Mahesh Babu shared a picture on social media encouraging people to continue to wear masks as we slowly move towards resuming normalcy.

The famous star wrote on social media, “We are opening up. Slowly, but surely. In a time like this, masks are mandatory. Make it a point to wear a mask every time you step out, that’s least we can do to protect ourselves and others.”

Adding that it is really cool to wear masks, he also wrote, “It may seem odd, but it is the need of the hour and we must get used to it. One step at a time! Let’s adapt to the new normal and get life back on track.”

Once the lockdown is lifted, Mahesh will soon start his work on the next Telugu movie with filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally. Earlier, the duo had collaborated for their successful film Maharshi.

Mahesh’s latest release Sarileru Neekevvaru made Rs 200 crore at the box office. In the film, Mahesh acted as a soldier who visits a small town and saves a family from a rowdy politician.
