Bollywood actress Kajol shared an exciting photograph of herself along with actors Aamir Khan and Vishal Jethwa watching their upcoming film Salaam Venky in a special screening. She posted the photo on her Instagram feed and captioned it, “It’s a big thumps up from #TeamSalaamVenky (heart, sparkles, and thumbs up emoji). #SalaamVenky.” In the photo, Aamir is noticed sitting between Kajol and Vishal.

For the special event, Kajol was noticed draped in a grey and red saree whereas, Vishal who plays the role of Kajol’s son in the film was seen in an all-black outfit. Aamir was seen in a denim jacket and matching pants. The Bollywood superstar chose for grey hair and beard look for the event. Many fans and followers commented on her post with best wishes for the film and the actors.

Aamir and Kajol were last seen together in the superhit film Fanaa in which they played the characters of Zooni and Rehan. The film’s story revolved around Rehan cheating on the blind Zooni and leaving her away as he was a terrorist. The film was well-received by the audience as it was also one of the comeback films of Kajol after a career break.
Coming back to Salaam Venky, the film also features Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj, and Ahana Kumra in important roles. It is directed by Revathy and is presented by Connekkt Media and produced by Suuraj Sinngh, Shraddha Agrawal, and Varsha Kukreja under the banner BLIVE Productions and RTAKE Studios.
Salaam Venky is set to hit the theatres on December 9. The film is inspired by the real-life story of the young chess player Kolavennu Venkatesh, who passed away due to Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in 2004. Kajol plays the role of the mother of Venky in this inspiring film and the film’s poster and promo videos reveal Aamir Khan having an extended and meaningful cameo.

The actress shared how she gained 8 kgs in just two months after marriage as there used to be different types of parathas on the dining table every morning such as gobhi parantha, paneer parantha, gobhi paneer parantha, kacche aalu ka parantha, normal aalu parantha along with white butter. She had no clue about dieting back then.
