Taiwan has experienced a series of earthquakes, reaching a magnitude of 6.3. It affected the eastern county of Hualien, which is still recovering from a significant 7.2 magnitude earthquake, on April 3.
This event resulted in the deaths of at least 14 people.
Despite the frequency of these earthquakes, the minor damage reported . Residents see buildings swaying throughout the night.
The Central Weather Administration of Taiwan has identified approximately 180 events as aftershocks related to the April 3 earthquake.
In addition, Taiwan is bracing for heavy rainfall expected over the week.
