New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry today said that “Mahakumbh is emerging as a super spreader” held in Uttarakhand. Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that in some states the cases of corona have increased very fast. Especially worrying about Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra, they have also advised the states to extend the test. He has said that Tests in Maharashtra and Punjab are decreasing rather than increasing. Tests need to be extended again. He said that Maharashtra accounted for 58 per cent of the total cases in the country. At the same time, 34% of the deaths due to corona are from Maharashtra.
NITI Aayog member VK Paul said that the second wave of Corona has started. This time the corona is spreading more rapidly than last year. In such a situation, the next four weeks will be very important. We must defeat it and win the war against this virus once again. Regarding vaccination, Rajesh Bhushan said that we have already relaxed the states affected more than Corona. Eligible people have been given permission to go to the vaccination center and get themselves vaccinated. Dr. Balaram Bhargava of ICMR said that there are one percent cases of reinfection worldwide.
