Voting is being held on 475 seats in West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry on Tuesday as part of the third phase of the assembly elections. As of 7 pm, Assam recorded 82.29 percent, 70.04 percent in Kerala, 78.13 percent in Puducherry, 65.11 percent in Tamil Nadu and 77.68 percent in Bengal.
Voting for the same phase was held today for 234 seats in Tamil Nadu, 140 in Kerala and all 30 seats in Puducherry, while in Assam the third and last phase saw voting in 40 seats. Whereas in West Bengal, voting was held on 31 seats today. There are still five phases left in West Bengal.
