Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain’s condition deteriorates, shifted to ICU

New Delhi: Health Minister Satyendar Jain’s health has deteriorated again. They are having trouble breathing. He has been placed on oxygen support on Friday after an increase in lung infections. He has been shifted to Max Hospital in Saket, Delhi, where he will be treated with plasma therapy.

On Wednesday, Satyendra Jain’s corona virus test came positive. On Thursday, his condition was seen to improve but his fever did not subside. On Friday, Delhi Health Department officials said that 55-year-old Satyendar Jain had an infection problem in the lungs, after which he was put on oxygen support.

He was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital on Tuesday after high fever and falling oxygen levels. Satyendra Jain had also undergone a test on Tuesday after the symptoms of corona virus were reported, which came negative. However, once again the corona virus was tested on Wednesday, the report came back positive.

Jain on Sunday attended an important meeting involving coronovirus with Home Minister Amit Shah, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and other senior officials of the Delhi government and the Center. Earlier, AAP MLA Vishesh Ravi from Karolbagh and Rajkumar Anand Corona, MLA from Patel Nagar were found positive. In his absence, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is handling his ministry.
