Lucknow : 846 cases of coronavirus have been reported in 49 districts of Uttar Pradesh so far.
Principal Secretary (Health) Uttar Pradesh Amit Mohan Prasad said, “846 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in 49 districts of Uttar Pradesh including 74 cured/discharged. 2962 tests were conducted on Thursday.”
“993 people are in isolation wards and 10714 people are in quarantine facilities in the state,” he said.
Principal Secretary said that yesterday, on Thursday, Lucknow, Gonda, Bareilly, Hardoi, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur pool testing was done. 55 pools are negative and 3 pools are positive. Information of positive pool has been given to districts.
On the other hand, Additional Chief Secretary of the state Avnish Awasthi told that the police station will be acted upon on finding the hidden corona suspect in UP. The responsibility of DM and SP will also be decided. He said that according to the guidelines of the Central Government, industries will open after April 20. 21 lakh workers were given an amount of one thousand rupees. He told that so far 45 FIRs have been lodged against foreigners of Tlagi Zamat in the state. Passports of 259 foreign nationals have been confiscated.
