Education company Unacademy has announced to have raised new funds from investors Tiger Global Management and Dragoneer Investment Group at a valuation of $2 billion.
The ed-tech company has raised between $75 million-$100 million, said the company’s sources.
The move after it gained $150-million from SoftBank in a funding round, thus making the EdTech firm known as a unicorn having a valuation of $1.45 billion.
Just when the year 2020 started, the company that has its base in Bengaluru raised $110 million from Facebook, General Atlantic and other investors.
Now the company’s total funds raised from investors stands at more than $400 million.
Unacademy reportedly has organized over 150,000 live classes on the platform every month.
