Softbank-backed Meesho has claimed that on 16 October 2023, it registered 120 crore customer visits. The festive season sale was conducted for 10 days by the company recently which was concluded. It is reported that the “Meesho Mega Blockbuster Sale” was such a huge success that it has recorded three times more growth than usual business these days.
During its recent sale, the company also launched a festive season sale with Meesho Mall, which is a digital store in the platforms for branded products.
Meesho released a statement that said that the company registered 120 crore customer visits, wherein sections such as home & kitchen, fashion as well as beauty and personal care helped them make more than 72 orders per second.
Also, during the Mega Blockbuster Sale, the company witnessed 1.6 crore new app installs. Meesho also mentioned how 80% of orders have come from all over India, which includes places like Amravati, Aurangabad, Dehradun, Nellore, Solapur, and Warangal.
The company also mentioned that 14 lakh sellers took part in the sale through the platform and there were approximately 12 crore product listings across 30 categories.
You will be shocked to note that the little ones grabbed major attention in the festive sale as kids’ wear purchases were up by 114 percent.
Indeed the company is enjoying a mark in the e-commerce marketplace of India and has seen a good festive sale held from 6th October 2023 to 15th October 2023.
The company also released a statement that mentioned how there was a range of quality items offered at cost-effective prices, especially in non-electronic sections. Also, Meesho Mega Blockbuster Sale was based on the shopping requirements of several Indians who were attracted by the company’s market presence.
