For the unversed, Shark Tank India is the Indian adaptation of the famous American show Shark Tank, which streams on SonyLIV.

The Hindi-language business reality television series aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The series is the Indian franchise of the American show Shark Tank and shows entrepreneurs making business presentations to a panel of investors, who are called sharks, who decide whether to invest in their company or not.

Shark Tank India (season 1) aired on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television from 20 December 2021 to 4 February 2022.

Shark Tank India (season 2) aired on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television from 2 January 2023 to 10 March 2023. The second season featured Amit Jain, CEO and co-founder of CarDekho group, as a New Shark.

Rahul Dua was the host of the season. He replaced Rannvijay Singha who was the host for the first season.

The concept of the show is that businesspersons pitch their ideas for a business or product they wish to design and develop. Then these self-made multi-millionaires evaluate the business concepts and products pitched and then determine whether to invest their money to support the market and mentor each contestant.
