Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is back with his upcoming spy movie Tiger 3. The makers of Tiger 3 have released a new teaser that shows Salman playing the main role. The teaser has been released on legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 will be released during Diwali 2023.

Salman’s Tiger film series has played an important role in building the YRF Spy Universe franchise. The producers are willing to have more movies in their spy universe in the near future. Tiger 3 will follow the events that occurred in Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), and Pathaan (2023).

The edge-of-the-seat action entertainer movie’s teaser opens with Salman announcing that after 20 years of serving India, does he require a character certificate? In the video, Salman is seen saying, “Tiger gaddar hai (Tiger is a traitor). Tiger is enemy number 1.” He seems to be recording a video even as gunshots are heard in the backdrop.
Salman is next seen fighting with several fully-armed soldiers and he shoots them all. Then there were many fighting scenes in the teaser that apparently looked like the Middle East and Turkey and jumping from buildings.
Salman said at one point said that Jab tak Tiger humara nahi, tab tak Tiger hara nahi, it means as long as Tiger is not yours, he is not dead. Tiger 3 will be released in theatres on 10th November 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The film also features Emraan Hashmi playing the negative role.
Salman and Katrina will be reuniting on the screen after their 2019 movie Bharat. Before the film, the on-screen couple featured in several hit movies such as Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, and Partner.
Tiger 3 will reportedly have a cameo that will also have Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of Pathaan. One cannot forget how Salman’s Tiger played a pivotal role in Siddharth Anand’s movie Pathaan. Filmmaker Aditya Chopra who leads YRF in the past had introduced many spy agents like Hrithik Roshan as Kabir in War film and Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan in Pathaan movie.

It is being reported that the actor and producer are discussing scripts with reputed filmmakers like Sooraj Barjatya, and Kabir Khan. However, the films are yet to be announced officially.
Salman was last noticed in a movie called Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film was released in theatres on 21st April 2023 and it minted approximately ₹182.44 crore at the box office. The film didn’t tank at the box office as the makers were able to recover the money that they had put into the production and distribution. However, the film couldn’t meet the expectations of the audience and critics alike. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also featured Pooja Hegde in the lead role.
