Indian actor Prabhas’ Salaar is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Not only the film’s release date has been postponed many times, but the clashes with big wigs are also averted so that the film enjoys good running at the box office. However, as per the new reports, as Prabhas’ Salaar’s release date is shifted to Christmas, the makers are officially locking horns with Shah Rukh Khan‘s film Dunki that is going to release during the Christmas week as well.

Shah Rukh and Prabhas’ fans have been playing a battle of words and meme fest on social media. SRK fans are of the view that Dunki will beat Salaar by a large margin, whereas the admirers of Prabhas are of the opinion that Salaar will shatter all the box office records including the ones set by the big wigs in the last few years.
A new report on a website says that the decision to release Salaar during the release time of Dunki has not just created chaos in Bollywood but also in Tollywood, which is the Telugu film industry. There are rumors that movies like Venkatesh’s ‘Saindhav,’ Nithiin’s ‘Extra Ordinary Man,’ Nani’s ‘Hi Nanna,’ and Sudheer Babu’s ‘Harom Hara’ are also planning for Christmas 2023 release. However, if Salaar is going to hit the theatres at the same time then all such plans will be ruined.
The report says that the news about the new release date of Salaar has created absolute chaos in the Telugu film industry. It will be challenging for any other film to stand its ground opposite this Prashant Neel-directed film Salaar. So, probably the makers may think to either pre-pone their releases or postpone their films to avoid a clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar.
Salaar’s release date by Hombale Films is being expected by the makers of regional films like Hi Nanna, Saindhav, Extra Ordinary Man, and Harom Hara.
Shah Rukh Khan while talking with the media and fans during the successful meeting of Jawan said that God had been kind to Pathaan and Jawan. He also mentioned how Pathaan was released on Republic Day and Jawan during Krishna Janmashtami and now Dunki will be released during Christmas.
Shah Rukh mentioned why he prioritizes national integration and he is also happy to make people happy through his films. Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is a story of how a gang leader makes a promise to a dying friend in order to compete with other criminal gangs.
Well, with regards to the actual date of Salaar in multiple languages is still being highly debated, we will wait and watch if it is Salaar vs Dunki vs other big films.
