Prophet Muhammad is considered by Muslims as the last prophet and messenger of God. Muslims think that Prophet Muhammad was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, in the year 570 AD. Prophet Muhammad provided the right guidance for humans to walk on a straight path.

So, they use the festival to celebrate the teachings and life lessons of the Prophet Muhammad. Muslims also read their sacred book Quran and listen to sermons.

Eid Milad Un Nabi is also the time for Muslims to organize parades and distribute food and sweets to needy people.

The celebration of Eid Milad Un Nabi has its origin in the 13th century. During the time of the Ottoman Empire, the Ottomans were great patrons of the arts and sciences, and that’s why they used the Eid Milad Un Nabi festival as a chance to promote the culture and civilization of Islam.

Muslims visit mosques to attend special prayers that are often longer and more elaborate than the regular prayers. Here are some amazing wishes for Eid Milad Un Nabi to share with loved ones:

In a tolerant country like India, it is very much essential that all religious groups co-exist together. We can do this by respecting everyone’s views be they religious or political or general and letting everyone live peacefully and happily. It is not essential to always have dominance or control over others as this can again lead to dissatisfaction at individual and group levels. So, live and let live!
