Auto Desk – Hyundai rolls out the new-generation Kona with three powertrain options for the SUV. The options include a petrol-only, a petrol-hybrid, and an electric powertrain. It is a completely revised version of the existing Kona. Let’s look into its design
New-Gen Hyundai Kona Design
Hyundai is offering designs exclusive to each powertrain that differentiate it from its concurrent siblings including an intake grille, different alloy wheels, revised rear bumper, and skid plates, and varying color schemes on the wheel arches, side mirrors, and the roof.
The SUV is bigger and a bit more rounded off in comparison to its forerunner and the sharp bonnet is now more curvaceous. The main headlight unit is placed lower on the bumper and the tail lights are housed in the lower body cladding of the SUV.
Besides that, Its cabin, now features dual 12.3-inch screens, one for the driver and one for the infotainment system.
Notably, full specifications are not yet released but we can expect the hybrid to come with a 1.6-liter unit with 139 HP and 264 Nm of peak torque.
