Auto Desk – Hyundai Motor’s second electric vehicle Ioniq 5 EV will launch in India tomorrow, it is already available in the global markets. The booking will begin in the country from December 20 onwards.
The Ioniq 5 features two battery packs based on the e-GMP or Electric Global Modular Platform architecture, including a 58kWh battery pack and a 72.6 kWh battery pack. It can be charged using a 350 kW DC fast charger.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV Features
It will be equipped with a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen display, wireless phone charging support, a head-up display, leather seats, and a sunroof. Also, it has a 12.3-inch driver display and comes with a cabin sporting premium looks and more advanced features.
The Ioniq 5 EV encompasses LED headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps and LED tail lamps and will run on 20-inch alloy wheels.
For safety, it has SmartSense Level 2 ADAS functionality along with Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forwards Collision Warning, Driver Attention Warning, etc.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV Price
The company has not revealed the price of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV. But according to the rumors, it can come with a base price of ₹50 lakh.
Notably, The Ioniq 5 EV will be the second all-electric model from the Korean company after Kona.
