Born on 7 July 1981, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, also known as MS Dhoni or Mahi is an Indian international cricketer.
Known for his fantastic captaincy, he has created history in the cricket world by winning all ICC trophies.
Dhoni was born in Ranchi and he considers himself as a Hindu Rajput.
His father Pan Singh worked in junior managerial role in MECON. Dhoni has a sister and a brother.
Dhoni is a great fan of Adam Gilchrist. He considers Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Lata Mangeshkar as his role models.
Before becoming a cricketer, Dhoni worked as a Travelling Ticket Examiner in Kharagpur railway station.
He married Sakshi Singh Rawat in 2010. The beautiful couple has a baby girl named Ziva who was born in 2015.
A movie was made on the life story of Dhoni titled MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, which starred the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role.
Also, a web series titled Roar of the Lion was aired on Hotstar in 2019.
