A 5-year-old girl was abducted and raped in the Bhalswa Dairy area of North Delhi. The condition of the child is critical, she is undergoing treatment. Police said that a case has been registered under sections of IPC and POCSO. The search for the accused is on.

According to Delhi Police, the innocent was playing outside the house on Wednesday evening. The accused took the girl from there. When the girl did not come home, the parents lodged a missing report. Police raided and announced in the area to find the girl, but the girl was not found.

The search operation was conducted again on Thursday morning. The girl was found near a park at around 7 in the morning. She was taken to the hospital, where doctors confirmed rape. Police are searching for the accused on the basis of CCTV.

Kidnapper caught in CCTV

The incident of kidnapping of the girl child was captured in the CCTV installed in the area. In the footage, the alleged kidnapper is seen holding the girl in his arms. The girl’s parents are daily wage laborers. Soon the accused will be caught, said police.

The Delhi Commission for Women has issued a notice to the Delhi Police in this matter. In this regard, Delhi Women’s Commission Chairperson Swati Maliwal made a tweet on Friday morning. He wrote – the 5-year-old girl has been raped in Delhi. The accused took her away from the front of the house and the girl was found near the lake. He has just had surgery in the hospital. My team is with him.
