A heinous incident was reported in the capital where a primary school teacher was arrested for hurting a class 5 student with a pair of scissors on her forehead, shaving her hair, and even pushing the little girl from the first floor of the school.

The girl’s age was 11 years she was rushed to the hospital after the incident, she suffered a serious injury on her facial bone after a fracture. the incident was reported at Nagar Nigam Vidyalaya in Delhi.

The accused has been identified as Geeta Deshwal who is 26 years old. According to the official police statement the teacher even threatened to harm some other students, following which she locked herself with some students in the classroom.

Further, the police said that she even tried to vandalize some of the student’s water bottles and threw them at them to hurt them. The police later added that the motive behind this was not clear, and which can only be disclosed after a proper investigation.

According to the official police statement they got information of a girl being thrown from the first floor at that very instance the police reached the spot. Following this, the girl was taken to Hindu Rao hospital for treatment.

During the initial inquiry, it was disclosed that Deshwal, on Friday came to the class and then suddenly locked the door from the inside and started to threaten the students. After that, she started to break water bottles following which she got hold of a girl who she threw off from the balcony.

Following this, the parents of students started to protest against the incident. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has asked for an action report from the District Magistrate, Delhi Commission for Women Swati Maliwal demanded a proper investigation and strict punishment for the teacher.
