Auto Desk – BMW XM SUV is the first SUV made by BMW M and the first M car to feature an electrified powertrain, it is priced at Rs 2.60 crore with deliveries to commence in May 2023.
BMW XM looks unlike any other vehicle on the road, it has a head-turning design. In front, it has a split LED DRL and headlamp setup. Also, it comes with gold color borders and contour lighting. It comes with 22-inch or 23-inch alloys.
BMW XM cabin with the BMW Curved Display, with a 12.3-inch instrument panel and a 14.9-inch infotainment display. It has a two-tone theme and a headliner with LED lighting which is configurable. It also includes features like a 20-speaker Bowers and Wilkins Diamond surround system, 4-zone climate control, electrically adjustable seats, heated front seats, massage function, and much more.
BMW has put in its first hybrid system in the XM, the 4.4-liter V8 with M TwinPower Turbo is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It’s electric motor draws power from a 25.7kWh battery pack and the engine produces 489bhp and 650Nm of torque while the motor produces 197bhp and 280Nm of torque. It has a combined output of 653bhp and 800Nm of torque. It also comes with the M xDrive AWD system, which manages power delivery.
It offers safety features including six airbags, ABS, M Sport differential, DSC, cornering brake control, active roll stabilization, side impact protection, ISOFIX child seat mounts, etc.
