Germany’s luxury car company BMW introduced its mid-sized sports activity vehicle (SAV) X3 M in the Indian market. Its ex-showroom price is 99.9 lakh rupees. The company said in a statement on Monday that this model has been designed to suit the needs of a high-performance car.
BMW X3 M will come to India as a fully built unit (CBU). The BMW X3 M has a 3.0 liter, 6 cylinder petrol engine. This engine generates maximum power of 480 hp and peak torque of 600 Nm. It also gets an 8-speed M steptronic transmission with drivelogic and a new M xDrive all-vehicle drive system. This SAV can hold a speed of 0-100 km / h in just 4.2 seconds. Its top speed is 250 km / h. The fuel consumption of the vehicle is 9.12 km / l.
12.3-inch multi-function touchscreen display, multifunction steering wheel, hi-fi speaker system and features like BMW Virtual Assistant, Ambient Lighting, M-Specific Instrument Cluster, Panoramic Sunroof are prominent inside the car. Apart from this, the car also has features such as BMW Head Up Display, Adaptive LED Headlights, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, High Beam Assistant and Parking Assistant.
BMW X3 M features front, side and head airbags, dynamic stability control including M dynamic mode, cornering brake control, dynamic brake control, dry braking function, cruise control with braking function, collision with city braking function and safety features like Pedestrian Warning Huh.
President of BMW Group India, Vikram Pavah said that high performance mid-size SAV will strengthen our presence in this segment. The biggest feature of the BMW X3 is its newly developed powerful engine and progressive chassis technology. Pwah further says that it offers unique combination of vehicle luxury and sporting dynamics. The BMW X3 M gives customers an exciting, safe and unique driving experience. It is equipped with world class features, which make it different from others in this segment.
