New Delhi: A team of Delhi police has recorded the statements of 11 people at Vasai in Palghar district of Maharashtra in connection with Shraddha murder case, official sources said on Monday. A police team headed by the station house officer in Mehrauli also visited Bidhuri Dental Clinic in Delhi to seek a second opinion from the doctor on the jaw that was found recently. The police wanted to match the denture which was treated with a jaw found at the Mehrauli forest. Sources said Shraddha also got teeth treated in Mumbai. The police further said they were investing whether Aftab had more than one phone numbers.

According to the Delhi police, Aftab used more than one numbers. The police also recorded the statement of the secretary of a housing society where the accused Aftab lived with his family. They took the statement of Abdullah Khan, the secretary of the Unique Park Housing Society in the Vasai area of Palghar district on Sunday. Khan told the police that Aftab’s family had vacated their house 20 days ago and also rented it out. Khan, however, said that he had no idea about where the family of Aftab had gone. The phone number of the Aftab family was switched off.

Aftab strangled his live-in partner Shraddha and cut her body into 35 pieces which he threw in different locations in the national capital. When the murder came to light, the police arrested Aftab.
